In 2018, the senior executive team of the Interior Health Authority (IHA) supported the Physician Quality Improvement (PQI) initiative, with the goal of increasing physician involvement in quality improvement activities. Supported through a collaboration between the Specialist Services Committee and the IHA, the PQI initiative operationalized a dyadic leadership model wherein participants are provided with quality improvement education, training opportunities, and expertise from coaches and consultants.

Veterinary medicine was my first dream job, which only changed when I saw a baby born when I was 14.

A knack for carpentry and home maintenance. My father was a jack-of-all-trades, and I left home too young to learn many of those skills from him.
