UNIVERSITY OF ALBERTA DISTANCE LEARNING—FOUNDATION COURSE IN OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE
This is a CME course designed to provide knowledge and skills in areas of occupational medicine encountered in family medicine and other community-based practice. This 3-credits-per-hour group learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 334.5 Mainpro+ credits. The next course takes place September 2024 to June 2025 which involves self-study, monthly tutorials, and two one-day workshops. Materials provided are relevant to specific British Columbia legislation and organizations, and addresses management of work-related health issues. Please email omcourse@ualberta.ca for any questions.
