Your voice makes a difference: Doctors of BC’s 2025 Health Authority Engagement Survey
Doctors of BC’s biennial Health Authority Engagement Survey is open until 30 October 2025, providing physicians the important opportunity to share candid feedback about their experiences with their regional health authority—what’s working, what challenges remain, and what changes they want to see.
As BC physicians continue to face a system in crisis, this feedback will help guide Doctors of BC’s advocacy efforts to shape a more resilient health care system for physicians and patients through programs and policies that support doctors.
How to take part
Doctors of BC members received an email invitation on 1 October and a reminder on 7 October with the subject line: “Doctors of BC Health Authority Engagement Survey 2025.” The emails contain a link to the survey, which should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. The survey is being conducted by TWI Surveys, an independent third party. Results will be aggregated to maintain confidentiality and anonymity and shared in early 2026.
The deadline to complete the survey is midnight on 30 October 2025. Participants can enter an optional draw to win one of two $1000 gift cards to either Costco or Canadian Tire.
Your voice matters

What questions are being asked?
Core questions about overall engagement and physician health and safety are being asked, along with new open-ended questions that provide the opportunity to share feedback on the ongoing health authority administrative reviews.
Topics include:
- Reducing administrative burdens.
- Enhancing the physician voice throughout the decision-making process.
- The best channels and methods for health authorities to engage with physicians on workplace matters.
- Where physicians would recommend reallocating funding from administrative processes to front-line care.
- Examples of decisions made by health authority leadership that affected physician engagement (positive and/or negative).
