iPad winner: UBC med student Mr Michael Yang.

Late last year, as part of attracting followers to the BCMJ’s new social media channels, we announced that we’d be giving away an iPad to a winner selected from subscribers to our e-mail list, followers of our Twitter feed, those who re-tweeted our contest details, and fans of our Facebook page. 

The new bcmj.org officially launch­ed on 25 November, and on 1 December we selected the winner of our iPad draw. Dr Barry Turchen, BCMA Board member, officiated the draw and select­ed our winner: Michael Yang, UBC Med­icine Class of 2014, Year 1 President, BSc(Hons), master’s of biotechnology.
