Since Doctors of BC established our in-house team of insurance advisors in 2011, we have been helping members with their life and health insurance needs. Our mission is to protect our members appropriately, providing peace of mind, so that physicians can focus on what they do best. Protecting a doctor’s family members with the appropriate insurance coverage contributes to that peace of mind. Here are three examples of when you can refer your family to Doctors of BC insurance advisors.

Self-employed spouse

Is your spouse self-employed? A critical part of being self-employed is creating a plan that ensures, if you are unable to work, an income is maintained. Unfortunately, too many entrepreneurs leave disability insurance low on their priority list, intending to get to it later.
