The Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine has named Dr Bill Mackie Community Sport Medicine Physician of the Year for 2009.
Dr Mackie was praised for his contributions to sport and sport medicine at the community, national, and international levels, and for advocating for sport medicine during his year as president of the BCMA.
Congratulations to Dr Mackie on receiving this honor.
