At the BCMJ's "50 Years and Counting" cocktail reception in Autust we held a contest in which attendees could pick their favorite BCMJ cover from a group of 16 staff-selected favorites from the last 12 years.
The votes have been tallied, and we have a clear winner: March 2008's smoking gun cover, illustrating that issue's focus on COPD. The race between second and third place was closer, with only a few points separating them. Second place goes to the November 2006 cover illustrating mild traumatic brain injury, and third to November 2000's "Pain and Wasting on Main and Hastings."
All covers were created by the BCMJ's long-standing cover artist, Jerry Wong.
