The BCMA is pleased to announce Ms Marisa Adair as the new executive director of BCMA Com­munications and Public Affairs. 

Following a 10-year career in broadcast journalism at CHEK-TV in Victoria, Ms Adair shifted into a career in BC government communications in 1997. During her time there, Ms Adair served four premiers, eight ministry executives, and 14 cabinet ministers. One of her favorite assignments was the 3 years she worked in a senior role at the Ministry of Health. Even after she moved into other ministries, she maintained her interest in the health sector and considered the work she did there to be very rewarding.

With her move to the BCMA, Ms Adair can once again focus on health and medicine. She and her husband have two grown children and are in the process of getting into the real estate market in Vancouver. You can contact her at madair@bcma.bc.ca [10] or 604 638-2809.
