BC Children’s Hospital has created a video to show to children before they undergo a test for COVID-19. It is designed to help them know what to expect and reduce anxiety. The video is included in the BCCDC’s COVID-19: Pediatric Testing Guidelines for BC, available at www.bccdc.ca/Health-Professionals-Site/Documents/COVID19_PediatricTestingGuidelines.pdf [9]. The video also shows health care providers across BC how to test children with the hold and distraction methods, and more.
