As physicians continue to face growing challenges, your leadership is needed more than ever. On Monday, 22 September 2025, eligible members received the call for nominations for Doctors of BC’s 2025 elections. Your involvement is vital to help drive meaningful change and increase the influence of the physician voice. 

Help shape the future of the profession 

Stepping into a leadership role at Doctors of BC is an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the province to help shape the future of the profession and find solutions to the issues impacting BC physicians. It also helps ensure that Doctors of BC has a strong, diverse representation within its governance bodies, which is essential so we can effectively represent and advocate for our members.  

Nominate a colleague  

This year, 29 positions, including president-elect, Representative Assembly delegate, and Board director, are open for nomination. Members are encouraged to consider which of their colleagues possess the skills, experience, and commitment needed to contribute to these roles and submit their names for nomination by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, 9 October 2025.
