Cambridge University Press has announced that it will publish a new open-access journal on behalf of the Nutrition Society. This new online-only publication, entitled Journal of Nutritional Science (JNS) will sit alongside the four publications already published on behalf of the society: British Journal of Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, Proceedings of the Nutrition Society and Nutrition Research Reviews.
Journal of Nutritional Science will publish research articles in all aspects of nutrition, with the goal of developing nutritional concepts. Philip Calder, editor of the British Journal of Nutrition, will also act as the editor-in-chief of JNS.
