Recognizing the challenges posed by projected changes in the demographics of the province over the next 25 years, the BCMA has submitted a report to the BC government’s Select Standing Committee on Health titled “Charting the course: Designing British Columbia’s health care system for the next 25 years.”
The report includes 10 recommendations to help address challenges in the system, incorporating data from several BCMA papers from the past 5 years, up-to-date statistics, and public polling results from Ipsos Reid. To read the submission visit www.bcma.org/files/Charting_the_Course_FINAL.pdf [8].
